USA Watch
  Guantánamo

The United States has been openly violating international and domestic law as well as fundamental principles of human rights in its treatment of people it deems to be suspect of terrorism or other undefined crime. Almost five hundred prisoners are held in Guantanamo base in Cuba under no charges and with no time frame for gaining back their freedom. There, they have been tortured and had their fundamental human rights violated. The great majority of the prisoners have no involvement with Al-Qaida and were handed over to the US by bounty hunters. They face no charges and have no way of proving their innocence.
